Latisse®

LATISSE® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% is the first and only FDA-approved product indicated to treat hypotrichosis of the eyelashes by increasing their growth, including length, thickness, and darkness. Latisse is believed to prolong the active growth phase during the normal eyelash growth cycle.

A kit typically lasts 3 months and includes a 3ml bottle of LATISSE® and FDA-approved sterile applicators designed to help patients properly apply the product. It is applied every night to the skin at the base of the upper eyelid lashes and significant improvement in lash appearance is seen after 2 months of nightly application. Upon discontinuation of treatment, eyelash growth is expected to return to its pretreatment level.
