Nour Abboushi, M.D.

Dr. Abboushi joined Paces after finishing his plastic surgery training at Emory University. During his plastic surgery fellowship he was selected as chief resident. He has a keen interest in patient safety and devoted much time to research pertaining to this issue. As a result of his efforts, he was recognized with the distinguished Gaspar W. Anastasi Award for best scientific paper at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons meeting.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude with degrees in biology and chemistry from the University of Houston, Dr Abboushi pursued two full years of research in transplant immunology that resulted in a masters degree in biochemistry and multiple scientific publications in peer reviewed journals.
Upon finishing medical school, Dr Abboushi completed his general surgery training at Emory University.
Dr Abboushi has broad interests in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He is particularly interested in all facets of breast reconstruction. He also enjoys facial cosmetic surgery and body contouring procedures following massive weight loss.
Dr Abboushi sees patients at the Buckhead, Conyers, and Oconee offices at Paces.
In his free time, Dr Abboushi enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, Maya, an Atlanta native, and their three children.
